750 2nd St. Luxury Condos

750 2nd St. is a fourteen unit luxury condominium project in the South Beach neighborhood of San Francisco, CA. It is steps away from the muni running along the Embarcadero and the SF Giants ball park.

Construction is being managed by Oliver & Company. The architects/interior designers are Gould Evans Baum Thornley. The project developer is Morgan Creek Ventures.

750 2nd St. construction, November 2011

Green Features:
750 2nd St. will apply for recognition as a LEED Silver building (minimum) from the US Green Building Council. Other features are slated to include:

  • Solar thermal hot water panels
  • High efficiency heat pumps on the rooftop
  • Cistern and infiltration planter holds and filters building run-off, before releasing it into the sewer system
  • Metal and terra cotta rain-screen systems give an effective and sustainable thermal and moisture barrier

Building Design:
Basement parking, ground floor commercial, with seven stories of condominiums above the commercial space. Eight story mid-rise building.

Parking:
The building will have a parking garage at the basement level, and I believe it will use car-stacking equipment. I am investigating the total number of parking spots that are being built and will update this post with the latest information as it becomes available.

Floor plans:
According to the architect, homes at 750 2nd St. will consist of a mix of one, two and three bedroom units, many with direct elevator access.  Condos on the upper floor will be multi-level with generously sized master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Pricing and Availability:
Completion of the condo building was originally scheduled  for 2011, but given where they are in construction at the beginning of November, I would expect the building to be completed in 2012, with occupancy happening in the Summer of 2012.

I have not received any information on building pricing at this time.

Interior Finishes:
I believe the kitchens will feature Scavolini cabinets, and the floors will be a palm flooring product from Smith & Fong. I do not have information on color schemes or other fixtures at this time.
